In addition to teaching applied improvisation to organizations and individuals, Advantage Improv team members Lee, Bob, Dan also act (stage, films, commercials and TV shows) and perform live comedy (improv and stand-up). Here are some fun photos.
Sometimes Lee, Bob and Dan will perform a comedy show called "Advantage Improv... Live!" Here's a 2-minute highlights video from one of their shows.
We (might have) released a hit music CD that made it to the "Top Ten Thousand" list of 1989.
We (might have) paid for large advertisements in Parade Magazine, encouraging customers to contact us via America Online's fledgling Instant Messenger.
We (might have) produced "The Lee and Bob Comedy Hour," voted by children in 1981 as the 48th best Saturday morning TV show, just behind "Photosynthesis Phil and The Pistils."
We (might have) developed the most popular arcade game of the 1980s, "Improv Invaders."
A contestant (might have) said, "Let's make it a true daily double!"
A contestant (might have) said, "I'd like to solve the puzzle!"
We (might have) designed Advantage Improv basketball shoes which were worn and endorsed by top pro players Russell Sprout, Iona Ford, Les Moore and Jim Shorts.
We (might have) purchased TOO much bulk improvisation and stored it in a large warehouse, where it eventually expired.
We (might have) leased the largest office building in Irvine, California for our small staff. ("Every employee gets their own floor!")
We (might have) bought a used Airbus A320 and launched the budget carrier A.I. Airlines. ("Coach Has Never Felt So Coach!")
We (might have) asked the general public if they knew the service we provide to organizations, and 98% were correct.
We (might have) asked British Army Sergeant Majors if they thought applied improvisation team building would be useful for their regiments. (They thought not.)
We (might have) hired Wolverine, a notorious gangster and Edith Bunker to sing the “Advantage Improv” logo in three-part harmony.
